Rod and Reel Compatibility

Works with most straight-handle rods equipped with:

• Surf rods and freshwater rods with grip diameters up to 1 5/8" (41.3 mm)

• Open and closed face spinning reels

• Baitcasting reels - 70 degree angle rests reel securely on top of tube

• Spincast reels

• Centerpin reels

• Underspin reels

• Inline ice fishing reels

Some fly fishing rods are compatible — minimum 3 inches of hand grip required behind the reel seat.

Does NOT fit:

• Pistol-grip rod handles

• Most Fly Rods (minimum 3" hand grip)

• Rods with grip diameters larger than 1 5/8"

• Trolling reels

• Right hip only, not reversible link our Ambie Model

Belt and Clip Options

• Fits any 1.5" to 2" belt including wading and tactical belts using the built-in reinforced closed loops

• Optional Metal clips enable beltless carry on shorts, sweatpants, leggings, or swim trunks — sold separately or available as an upgrade at checkout

• Metal clips are precisely spaced for MOLLE belt compatibility

Important: Black oxide stainless steel metal clips are not rust-proof. They perform well in freshwater or dry conditions. After saltwater use, rinse with fresh water after each use to reduce corrosion and extend life.

**Important Installation tip: Apply threadlocker to Metal belt clips hardware. For the best hold, we recommend Loctite 638 retaining compound to the screw threads for maximum hold.
