This Return and Refund Policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable state consumer protection laws.
Overview
We stand behind our fishing rod holster products. This Return and Refund Policy applies exclusively to Pine 9 Holsters fishing rod holsters and accessories — including the JettyHawk, Ambie, and related components — purchased through our website at pine9holsters.com. Custom firearm holster consultations are conducted in person only, involve no online transaction, and are not subject to this policy. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Amazon Marketplace Purchases
Products purchased through our Amazon storefront are subject to Amazon's return and refund policies and must be handled through Amazon directly. Pine 9 Holsters does not process returns, refunds, or exchanges for Amazon orders through this policy or through our website. To initiate a return for an Amazon purchase, please use Amazon's standard return process through your Amazon account. Amazon's return policies and timeframes govern all Amazon transactions independently of this policy.
30-Day Return Window
We accept returns on eligible fishing rod holster items within 30 days of the delivery date confirmed by the carrier. Requests received after 30 days from confirmed delivery will not be accepted under any circumstances, except as required by applicable law.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met without exception:
The item must be in its original, factory-sealed, unopened packaging. Packaging that has been opened, resealed, tampered with, or damaged in any way does not qualify. The item must be unused, uninstalled, and unmounted. All original components, hardware, accessories, and inserts must be present and unaltered. The item must show no signs of wear, use, installation, modification, or post-delivery damage. Proof of purchase is required.
Returns that do not meet every eligibility requirement will be rejected without exception and returned to the sender at the sender's expense. We do not make exceptions to these requirements regardless of the circumstances described.
Non-Returnable Items
The following fishing rod holster and accessory items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:
Custom or made-to-order items produced to customer specifications. Clearance or final sale items, which are marked as such at the time of purchase. Items purchased at a discount of 25% or more off regular retail price. Apparel including shirts and hats. Spare parts, replacement components, and hardware accessories. Metal clips, belt clip hardware, screws, nuts, and related fasteners. These components are non-returnable and non-replaceable under this policy regardless of circumstance. Any item that has been installed, mounted, modified, or used in any way.
We reserve the right to expand this list at our discretion. Items designated as non-returnable at the time of purchase are final sale.
Metal Clip and Hardware Installation Requirements
The following requirements apply exclusively to Pine 9 Holsters fishing rod holsters and accessories and have no application to custom firearm holster consultations.
Metal clips and accompanying hardware for fishing rod holsters must be installed using a threadlocking compound. Based on our testing, we recommend Loctite 638 Green High Strength Retaining Compound. This recommendation is provided on our product pages and included in written form with every hardware order.
We will not replace, refund, or provide warranty coverage for metal clips, screws, nuts, or related fasteners for fishing rod holsters that have been lost, stripped, or become loose due to installation without the recommended threadlocking compound or failure to follow provided installation instructions. Installation of hardware constitutes acknowledgment of and responsibility for following the installation instructions provided.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, contact us at support@pine9holsters.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and your reason for the return. If the item appears damaged or you believe it is defective, include photographs clearly showing the condition of the item and packaging.
Do not ship any item back without first receiving written return authorization from us. Unauthorized returns will be refused at delivery and returned to the sender. We are not responsible for items shipped back without authorization.
Return authorization requests are evaluated at our discretion. Authorization does not guarantee approval of a refund pending physical inspection.
Return authorization will be provided in writing via email. If your return is authorized, we will provide a return merchandise authorization number and return shipping instructions. Return destination will be confirmed in your authorization email. Holster products are typically returned to our fulfillment center at:

Do not ship returns to any other address without written confirmation from us. Shipping to an incorrect address may result in your return being rejected and no refund being issued.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer for all non-defective returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit. Items that arrive damaged due to inadequate return packaging may be rejected.
Return shipping costs are covered by us only in the following circumstances: a verified manufacturing defect confirmed under our 30-Day Limited Warranty as described in Section 16.2 of our Terms and Conditions, a carrier-confirmed shipping damage claim, or a fulfillment error in which an incorrect item was sent.
For shipments originally delivered to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses, customers are responsible for arranging and purchasing return shipping unless the return is due to a verified defect or fulfillment error.
Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 10% of the item subtotal, excluding original shipping charges, will be deducted from all approved non-defective returns of fishing rod holster products. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, processing, and transaction costs.
The restocking fee does not apply to verified defective returns or fulfillment errors.
Inspection and Approval
All returned fishing rod holster items are subject to physical inspection upon receipt. We reserve the right to reject any return that does not meet our eligibility requirements, regardless of whether a return authorization was issued. Authorization is issued in good faith based on your description and does not constitute a guarantee of refund.
If a return is rejected upon inspection, we will notify you within 5 business days. Rejected items will be held for 14 days, during which you may arrange and pay for return shipment back to you. Items not claimed within 14 days may be disposed of at our discretion.
We reserve the right to refuse returns from customers who abuse this policy or engage in fraudulent return activity, including but not limited to returning used, damaged, or incorrect items.
Refunds
Once a return is received and approved upon inspection, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a verified defect, shipping damage, or fulfillment error. The 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount for non-defective returns.
Refund timing after issuance may vary depending on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control.
If a return is rejected upon inspection, no refund will be issued. We will notify you and offer to return the item to you at your expense. Items not claimed within 14 days of notification may be disposed of at our discretion.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges for fishing rod holster products. To receive a different item, request a return authorization for your original purchase and place a new order. New orders are processed independently and are not contingent on return approval. Exchanges are subject to product availability. The standard 30-day window applies.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your fishing rod holster order immediately upon delivery. If you believe your item arrived defective, damaged in transit, or is incorrect, contact us at support@pine9holsters.com as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from confirmed delivery. Include your order number and photographs clearly showing the issue.
Defects and damage claims are subject to review and confirmation. Confirmed defects are handled under our 30-Day Limited Warranty as described in Section 16.2 of our Terms and Conditions at www.pine9holsters.com/policies/terms-of-service. Confirmed fulfillment errors will be corrected at our expense. We do not accept liability for damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modification, or normal wear.
Metal Clip and Hardware Warranty Exclusion
We will not replace, refund, or provide warranty coverage for metal clips, screws, nuts, or related fasteners for fishing rod holsters where loss, damage, or failure is attributable to installation without the recommended threadlocking compound or failure to follow provided installation instructions. Installation instructions and product recommendations are provided on our product pages and included in written form with every hardware order. Installation of hardware constitutes acknowledgment of and responsibility for following those instructions. This exclusion applies regardless of when the failure occurs within the warranty period.

Order Cancellations
Orders for fishing rod holsters and accessories may be canceled if requested before fulfillment begins, generally within 24 hours of order placement for in-stock items. Once an order has entered processing or shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the return process described above. Custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled once production has begun.
