Keith Thompson — I haven't had a chance to use mine much yet. But it looks like it will be a great asset. The only tweak that I think might make it better is that it lays flat and I would prefer it to have a slight bend in the plate that lays against your body so it would contour more comfortably.

Chris King — I guess it could be useful. There's usually a handy tree nearby to lean my rod on if I need both hands. Could be useful wading when you want to bring two rods. You'd have to have the rod facing the other way though so it doesn't get in the way of casting.
